Senior Adult Ministry
Our Senior Adult Ministry, also known as the JOY Group (Jesus first, Others second, Yourself last), offers opportunities for service, growth, and fellowship for those who have reached this prime time in life. We allow participants in this ministry to choose what age this ministry starts ;-).
The JOY Group meets on the first Thursday of every month for lunch and a brief program.
The JOY Choir meets on the first Wednesday of every month for rehearsal and the third Wednesday of every month for a program at area nursing and retirement facilities.
Edith McLemore serves as the JOY Group Coordinator. Charlie Gilliam directs the JOY Choir.
