Worship Ministry
Our goal in worship is to glorify God and God alone. We emphasize that Jesus pointed out to the Pharisees that the Greatest Commandment is to “love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37). It is also interesting to note that immediately before Jesus gave the Great Commission, the disciples bowed in worship before Him. Every ministry in Christian life flows out of a heart of worship.
The typical worshiper would likely describe our worship style as “blended.” We evenly combine traditional hymns (although we sometimes contemporize the accompaniment) with modern worship songs.
